Founded in 1948 by Charles Martin, the Société des Glacières et Entrepôts Frigorifiques Charles Martin, originally based in Cavaillon, specialized in the production of block ice, fruit ripening, and the preservation of fresh produce. In 1969, Constant Martin initiated the first modernization of the company by adding a department dedicated to the distribution of frozen food products and ice cream. He implemented a commercial strategy focused on selecting high-quality products and providing customer-oriented service. Thanks to his team, the company rose to become the leading regional distributor of frozen food products.
